John Stuit of DeCA presented a series of successful CO2 transcritical installations in U.S. military sites around the world, including in the heat of the Mojave Desert, CA.

John Stuit

 

John Stuit has 33 years of experience as an engineer in the supermarket industry. He is currently chief of design and construction at the Defense Commissary Agency which operates a chain of 240 supermarkets on military bases worldwide. Mr. Stuit has enjoyed working with manufactures to place very low GWP refrigeration solutions into place including several transcritical CO2 systems in a variety of climates in the United States and an ammonia/CO2 cascade system. Mr. Stuit has a degree in mechanical engineering from Dordt College.
