Bente-Tranholm Schwarz from the European Commission outlined the progress made in implementing the EU F-Gas Regulation and warned that the EU executive would not shirk from tabling a new legislative proposal in future if needed.

Since 2010 Bente Tranholm Schwarz is deputy Head of Unit in DG Climate Action in the European Commission responsible for, inter alia, protecting the ozone layer and the climate system against adverse effects of ozone depleting substances and fluorinated gases.
From 1996-1999 and from 2004 to 2009 she was dealing with state aid policy in DG Competition. Before she joined the European Commission she was working in the Danish Permanent Representation to the European Union and the Danish Ministry of Economics and Business Affairs.
