Frigo-Consulting is working to improve the efficiency of CO₂ transcritical systems using ejector technology. Erik Wiedenmann presented two installations in Switzerland where energy consumption of the systems were reduced thanks to the improved technology.

Erik Wiedenmann is working for Frigo Consulting Ltd., a Swiss consultant active in the fields of refrigeration systems for retail and industrial applications with focus on sub- and transcritical systems with CO₂. Over the past years he has gained comprehensive experience in engineering sustainable solutions with natural refrigerants and has been involved in the design and realization of several innovative sub- and transcritical CO₂ refrigeration systems. Since the summer 2013 he is in the research and development department of Frigo Consulting Ltd. and committed to implement innovative and sustainable technologies.

Erik Wiedenmann has gained a Bachelor degree in system engineering in 2012 and has previously worked as computer scientist.
