RSES’s training program is designed to equip manufacturers, service technicians and installers in proper working practices with flammable hydrocarbon refrigerants such as propane and isobutane, as well as HFCs and HFOs. In his presentation, Arthur Miller outlined how the world’s leading education, training and certification association RSES developed its hydrocarbon training program in 2012 and continues to update it with the latest EPA SNAP regulations in the U.S..

Arthur Miller

 

Arthur Miller, CMS, RCT has a B.S. Degree in Education from California University and a M. Ed. Degree from Eastern Michigan University. He is retired after having taught HVAC&R for over 35 years at the Community College of Allegheny County in Pittsburgh PA. Prior to CCAC, he was a Factory Representative for both York and Gibson Products. He is an ASHRAE member, a CMS member in RSES and serves as a reviewer of RSES and ACCA Society Publications. He is Region 2 Director for RSES and an RCT for RSES. Mr. Miller has NATE Certifications and is a trainer/proctor for NATE Certifications. He operates a family owned property rental business and KAM Associates, an HAC consulting business.
