Michael Duggan, from RLS, reviewed flame-free press fittings and their enhancements in regard to the adoption of natural refrigerants by eliminating the need for brazing, which is often a challenge and concern for manufacturing and repairs in the field. The presentation examined testing and examples of the products as well as plans for product adjacency with versions for additional metal systems.

RLS LLC is a recently formed company which is part of the Marmon Group/Berkshire Hathaway, which has developed press-to-connect fittings engineered for high-pressure refrigeration lines used in the air conditioning and refrigeration industries. Numerous adjacent products are in the works.

Michael is a 2001 graduate of University of Ulster with a Masters Degree in Marketing and also holds a Honors Degree in Business Studies. Since graduating from University of Ulster, Michael has worked in various roles for multiple companies allowing him to leverage his diverse knowledge in his daily activities. His focus is on high pressure and natural refrigerant products that enhance efficiency and safety.
