Paul Bevington, from Carter Group, examined integrated transcritical CO2 refrigeration systems and the reason that transcritical CO2 is the best for refrigeration systems. The presentation included a description of what Carter Group means by “integrated solution” and how the refrigeration plant’s potential is maximised by its use. Bevington concluded with various case studies across North America and Europe in order to demonstrate how CO2 offers a viable, economic, and efficient solution for all store formats.
