Tomokazu Ayukuwa gave a presentation on the main measures to deliver f-gas reductions in Japan. Among those he mentioned is a subsidy for natural refrigerant equipment: he explained that in 2016, the subsidy for R&D projects will cover five sectors with a total amount of JPY 7.3 billion.

Tomokazu Ayukawa

 

Mr. Ayukawa joined the Environment Agency in 1995. He was in charge of climate change policy, waste management, air pollution policy and nuclear safety. Mr. Ayukawa currently works at the Japanese Ministry of the Environment. He holds the position of the Director of the Office of Fluorocarbons Control Policy at the Climate Change Policy Division in the Global Environment Bureau.
