Arno Kaschl

 

Arno Kaschl holds a PhD from Hohenheim University in Stuttgart, Germany, related to research of heavy metal pollution in Middle Eastern soils. After a couple of years as a postdoctoral researcher at the Centre for Environmental Research in Leipzig, Germany, Arno started working for the European Commission in 2004. Four years ago Arno joined the F-gas Team at DG CLIMA with the objective of drafting and negotiating the new F-gas Regulation. Currently, Arno's principal objectives are implementing the HFC phase-down in the EU and supporting the international negotiations under the Montreal Protocol towards a global phase-down.
