After sponsoring the two previous edition of ATMOsphere Europe, Alfa Laval, the Swedish expert in heat transfer, separation and fluid handling, has decided to sponsor the first edition of ATMOsphere America to be held in Washington, on June 12-13.
Alfa Laval CO2 and ammonia expertise
Alfa Laval has implemented air cooled CO2 gas coolers designed for the special conditions of the CO2 refrigerant. The heat exchangers have an innovative coil design that is based on small copper tubes and corrugated aluminum fins to provide excellent heat transfer at a minimised refrigerant charge. Specific circuiting of the gas cooling applications has been also designed considering the CO2 thermodynamic properties.
Alfa Laval is also developing smart solutions for ammonia: heat exchangers, condensers and air coolers in particular.
