We are very happy and proud to announce the 4^th edition of ATMOsphere Europe to be held in Brussels on 5-7 November 2012 (Monday - Wednesday), at the Crowne Plaza Le Palace Hotel in Brussels. Save the date!

Main theme: ATMOsphere Europe 2012: Natural Refrigerants - Solutions for Europe

This year we want to put the emphasis on case studies, experiences, and discussions - meaning solutions - about how natural refrigerants can be viable alternatives to f-gases across Europe.

A main topic of this year's ATMOsphere Europe will therefore be the new F-Gas regulation: the European Commission intends to present a legislative proposal revising the current EU F-Gas Regulation in September/October 2012. ATMOsphere Europe 2012 is thus perfectly timed to enable industry to provide feedback to the European Commission and European Parliament on the legislation. This proposal will have a significant influence on the future of natural refrigerants in Europe.

Two dedicated End User sessions

In addition, we will have two dedicated sessions on the opportunities and barriers that supermarkets, other retailers, consumer brands, cold storage facilities, breweries etc have and face when working with CO₂, ammonia, hydrocarbons, water or air. A minimum of 8 end users will openly discuss their experiences, real life examples and future plans.

More time, more solutions for Europe

With so many interesting things to discuss and present, in addition to the two day "normal" workshop days, we are also planning to have a half a day before, dedicated to the F-Gas regulation and the 10-point action plan. These small group discussions will allow for more focused and fruitful discussions.

• Market Overview for natural refrigerants in Europe with presentations from industry and the financial community
• Workshop 10-point action plan
• End user panel 1: Commercial end user session with presentations and panel discussion from 4 leading supermarkets/retailers
• End user panel 2: Industrial end user session with 4 presentations and panel discussion
• Technology case study session 2 (open to call for papers)

Registration and Call for Case Studies

Registration for ATMOsphere Europe 2012 will open in early May. A call for case studies looking for innovative and real life examples of natural refrigerant solutions for Europe will be issued in early May as well.
