ATMOsphere America 2016 is heading west to the Windy City! On June 16 and 17, the natural refrigerant event of the year will take place in Chicago, Illinois. Experts will gather to talk about the latest developments in the HVAC&R industry and the benefits of using CO2, ammonia, hydrocarbons and water as refrigerants. The program offers the participants end user and supplier panels, policy, market trends and technology case study sessions, without forgetting the unparalleled networking opportunities.

ATMOsphere America 2016 is a unique opportunity to meet and exchange opinions with leading end users, contractors, suppliers, government representatives and associations. We are very excited to welcome 38 sponsors, who will be joining us at The Westin Michigan Avenue for discussions on the business case for natural refrigerants.

New features have been added to the busy schedule, such as the safe handling of hydrocarbons and utilities and incentives panels and a second industrial refrigeration case study session. A record number of end users will be presenting the latest data and revealing future developments. The food retailer panelists including Sobeys, DeCicco & Sons, Delhaize, Roundy’s and Piggly Wiggly will cover every type of natural refrigerant system being implemented by grocery stores in North America and Europe, from transcritical CO2 to ammonia/CO2 to propane.

The industrial refrigeration panelists including Western Gateway Storage, LA Cold Storage, Canneberges Bécancour, Port Newark Refrigerated Warehouse and Shepherd’s Egg will also delve into all types of natural refrigerant systems being adopted by cold storage and food processors in North America using CO2 and ammonia as refrigerant.

During the policy panel the audience will hear presentations by government representatives and industry experts on the latest regulatory issues and standards regarding natural refrigerants in North America. The panel will be composed of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Mexican Ozone Unit, Environment Canada, California Air Resources Board, Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and IIAR.

The conference will take place at the Westin Michigan Avenue, June 16-17.
