SCM FRIGO has been developing natural refrigerant technologies since 2004 and has now become a leader of CO₂ refrigeration systems production. The company designs and manufactures condensing units, chillers and compressor packs for CO₂ and ammonia systems. The company's CO₂ product lines include compressor packs for cascade, transcritical and booster systems, as well as pumping stations and chillers.

Operating both in the industrial and commercial refrigeration sector, the company exports its innovative natural refrigerant systems around the world. Recently SCM Frigo designed the first CO₂ ice rink in Belgium, home to the national ice hockey team. Earlier this year, the company supplied two CO₂ transcritical booster racks to a large logistics centre in Poland and installed a CO₂ cascade unit that provides cooling for a blast freezer at an industrial bakery in Chile.
