Natural Refrigerant Solutions - Policy drivers and examples of Natural Refrigerants being used around the world: This ATMOsphere panel discussion gives an industry and policy point of view about natural refrigerants. Case studies and their experience with technology using CO2, NH3 or hydrocarbons. This side event is targeted to the climate negotiators that are looking for technologically viable, safe and efficient alternatives to chemical refrigerants that have to be phased out in the near future.
About OEWG 32: From 23-27 July 2012 over 400 key policy representatives from 200 countries and various UN agencies as well as interested industry and non-governmental representatives met in Bangkok, Thailand. As preparation to the MOP24 in Geneva (November 2012), they discuss alternatives to Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS), HCFCs and HFCs.
