Jan holds a Doctor of Engineering degree in System Design from Hosei University in Tokyo and a Master’s degree from the Czech Technical University in Prague. During his studies, and research undertaken in the USA, Europe and Japan, Jan has centered his academic focus on environmental technologies and marketing strategies. Having lived in Japan for over 8 years, Jan communicates fluently in Japanese and has a rich experience cooperating with Japanese industry. Jan is currently based in Tokyo, responsible for business development activities and monitoring Asian markets on behalf of shecco Japan.
Herman has been working at Embraco since 1992. He began his career in the R&D, Prototype and Samples Laboratory, Product Engineering and Technical Support for Latin America and Asia-Pacific.
In 2016 Herlon became Sales Manager for Asia-Pacific region. Currently he's responsible for South Korea, Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia.
He holds a Bachelor Degree in Mathematics and Bachelor of Technology, Mechatronics, Robotics and Automation Engineering from Univille and SENAI, respectively.
Alvin is working with the United Nations Environment Programme (OzonAction) as a Montreal Protocol & Energy Efficiency Specialist (Consultant) since 2013. He has more than 10 years of experience in Energy & Environment sector, particularly in Energy Efficiency, Sustainable Energy & Multilateral Environment Agreements. He has previously worked with Bureau of Energy Efficiency (Government of India), TERI, UNDP and Asian Institute of Technology. He has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and also holds a master’s degree in Energy Engineering.
At present, Mr. Alvin Jose is providing technical support to the Compliance Assistance Programme of the UN Environment to implement HCFC phase-out and HFC phase-down projects in Asia Pacific region. He has extensive experience on strategies for Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Refrigerant Management of HVACR sector in Asia Pacific region.
Andreas Meier has several years of experience in management functions within the refrigeration sector. He has been a member of TEKO's management since August 2015. He was previously President of Sales D / A / CH at GEA Refrigeration Technologies, based in Berlin - Germany, and before that he was the Head of Marketing and Product Management at GEA Küba GmbH.
He also worked in Zug - Switzerland, as Sales & Marketing Manager at a Japanese manufacturer for industrial refrigeration.
Alex has more than 22 years’ experience in international business, in the fields of sales, marketing and business development in Europe, Asia, ME, Africa and North America in the refrigeration and specialty chemicals industries. He holds a PhD in Chemical Catalysis and a Master’s in Business Administration.
He is currently Commercial Director at Sanden Intercool Group based in company’s headquarters in Thailand.
Willy is a Licensed Mechanical Engineer from the University of Santo Tomas with 34 years of work experience in engineering and business. He currently holds the position of Senior Vice President of Frabelle Group of Companies for Cold Chain and Power Generation Projects. Frabelle is into commercial cold storage operations for more than 20 years, and one of the pioneer members of the Cold Chain Association of the Philippines, and Willy has been a Director for 3 terms. He spearheaded the project designs and have managed the construction and operations of 7 cold storages, and handled other major projects of Frabelle such as processing facilities and an ice plant.
