About this event

ATMOsphere Network Bangkok: Natural Refrigerants for Developed and Developing Countries

This event is organized on side of the 35th Open Ended Working Group meeting of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol. During the event a presentation on the use of natural refrigerants in China will be given - the presentation will share results of the biggest-ever industry survey on natural refrigerants in China, while providing insights into market, technology and policy drivers to introduction of climate friendly alternatives in refrigeration, heating and air conditioning applications. In addition, industry representatives will present about real-life examples and updates on technology using natural refrigerants (CO2, NH3, hydrocarbons, air or water) in developed and developing countries. The side event is targeted towards climate negotiators and industry representatives who are looking for technologically viable, safe and efficient alternatives to chemical refrigerants that have to be phased out in the near future.
