Marek Zgliczynski from Embraco presented a case study from Mig Supermarkets in Brazil, where switching from a remote R22 system to Embraco’s Plug N’ Cool solution with hermetic reciprocating propane (R290) compressors delivered a 35% reduction in the total cost of ownership by reducing energy consumption by 37% and offering up to A$300,000 in maintenance cost savings over a period of one year.
