Douglas Schmidt

 

Doug is the Sales Manager of Embraco North America's Commercial Cooling Solutions division. He has 21 years of experience in the industry and has participated and/or led the design, innovation, manufacturing and testing of various refrigeration equipment. Several of the projects Doug has worked on have focused on new product design to increase energy efficiency and the evolution of refrigerants. Prior to joining Embraco in 2007, Doug held management positions in various segments of the refrigeration industry.

Doug earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on thermal science from Purdue University. Doug is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and trade shows.
