In this presentation, Robert Czarnecki, Project Manager - Refrigeration at the Campbell Soup Company, spoke about the use of ammonia refrigeration at Campbell's manufacturing facilities, including thermal processing facilities, bakeries and vegetable processing facilities. He also presented Campbell's ongoing initiative to convert some of it's bakeries from R22 to NH3

Robert Czarnecki

 

Bob Czarnecki received his Bachelor of Science from Drexel University in Philadelphia and a Master of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY. He is currently employed by the Campbell Soup Company and works in the Global Engineering Department at their corporate headquarters located in Camden, NJ. Bob is the Program Manager, Refrigeration, and covers all facilities and production processes company wide. His responsibilities include planning, concept development, system design, project management, installation, startup, and troubleshooting. Current project activity includes new and expanded processing systems, upgrades of existing refrigeration systems, and refrigerant conversions both domestically and internationally.

Bob has served two terms on the Board of Directors for the IIAR. He is now Chairman of the IIAR Standards Committee which has the responsibility for developing and maintaining a full range of ANSI Standards for the ammonia refrigeration industry.
