Sylvain Lamy, presents Emerson Climate Technologies' latest innovations to help retailers to adopt CO2 refrigeration systems in their convenience stores. Lamy says system compactness has already been reduced and that energy efficiency is 3-6% higher than for standard HFC systems.

Sylvain Lamy

 

Born in Paris, Sylvain Lamy studied for his first degree in Thermodynamics and Energy in Poitiers and then went on to post graduate studies in Marketing and International Business at the University of Bordeaux. For the last 18 years, Sylvain has held a variety of marketing and product management positions in the air-conditioning and refrigeration industry and in different countries including France, Canada, USA, Italy, Belgium and now Germany.

Since 2003 Sylvain has been part of Emerson Climate Technologies European Marketing Team based in Aachen, Germany. Today he is Marketing Manager for Refrigeration Compressors, developing Emerson Climate’s compressor portfolio for standard and natural refrigerants.

A key focus for Sylvain in recent years has been the development and launch of CO2 compressor products (including Copeland Scroll and Stream Semi-Hermetic compressors with on-board electronics for advanced protection and diagnostics). He works closely with OEMs and end-users to support Emerson Climate Technologies’ commitment and vision to provide new technologies and solutions that help retailers in their efforts to adopt natural refrigerants.
