Yoshinari Okuyama from Coca-Cola Tokyo Research & Development Co. Ltd. spoke about the company's goals to phase-out HFCs and adopt natural refrigerants instead. So far, The Coca Cola Company has 1,000,000 HFC free bottle cooler units in operation. In Japan, significant progress has been made in the adoption of HFC-free vending machines, and all new vending machines purchased in Japan are now HFC-free. Yoshinari also spoke about the company's involvement with 'Refrigerants Naturally!' and the Consumer Goods Forum.

Mr. Okuyama hold the position of Director for the Sales Marketing Equipment & Process Research division within the Coca-Cola Tokyo Research & Development Co. Ltd. In this role, he is responsible for the development of Cold Drink Equipment such as vending machines, coolers, and dispensers for Japan. In addition, Mr. Okuyama oversees leading Beverage Manufacturing Process Development, including the Process Research Lab.
