Hironari Fujiki of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries presented the Q-ton, which was introduced to the market in 2011. The model is suitable for ambient temperature as low as -7°C with highest COP of 4.3 in the industry and has been applied into different facilities include schools, hotels and pharmaceutical company.

Mr. Fujiki is the Engineering Manager for the Heat Pump Solution Sales Section of Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Division of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Co. Ltd. He joined MHI as a design engineer of air-conditioners in 1989. Since 2010, Mr. Fujiki has been in charge of sales for heat pumps and CO₂ water heaters.
