Johanna Gloƫl

 

Johanna joined the environmental consultant HEAT in 2013. She works mainly in the area of research and data analysis as well as project management, and is actively involved in several projects promoting the use of natural refrigerants. She has experience in the topics of GHG emissions mitigation strategies and in the calculation of baseline scenarios and inventories of energy consumption. She has contributed to several reports and studies on energy efficient and climate friendly refrigeration and air conditioning technologies. Johanna holds a PhD in Environmental Sciences from the University of East Anglia, UK.

HEAT has been advising the GIZ since 2013 on the implementation of the transport refrigeration project in South Africa and has initiated several activities, such as the establishment of a thermal test chamber and the development of a R290 transport refrigeration unit.
