KAV Consulting is owned by Klaas Visser, who brings to KAV over 40 years experience in the design and management of industrial refrigeration systems, specialising in the food industry with particular emphasis on the meat industry. Some of KAV Consulting's key areas of expertise are ammonia and CO₂ systems, including ammonia/CO₂ cascade systems and transcritical CO₂ refrigeration systems.

Klaas Visser will be presenting a technology case study "Application of subcritical CO₂ evaporative condensers and evaporative transcritical CO₂ gas coolers" during the Industrial Refrigeration & Other Applications Session 2 at ATMOsphere America 2014.
