The Walgreens and GI team presented the installation of a ground source heat pump system in tandem with a transcritical C02 system in a Walgreens Evanston store at the 3rd ATMOsphere America 2014. This combination of energy measures has enabled the store to generate more energy than it takes from the grid, surpassing net zero target.
