To ensure fruitful discussions in the workshop sessions as well as concrete results afterwards, we have prepared a natural refrigerants survey that is mandatory for all participants.

At ATMOsphere 2010 we want to find out: HOW to bring natural refrigerants faster to market. The first step for this is a good preparation from all sides. Therefore, we would also need your support to identify perceived and/or actual barriers to the wider uptake of carbon dioxide, ammonia and hydrocarbons in heating, air-conditioning and refrigeration applications.

Inspired by a questionnaire developed by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the ATMOsphere 2010 survey aims to answer two key questions:

• Which barriers for natural refrigerants exist in your country?
• Which solution can be found to these barriers?

For this we need your input! Your personal experience, know-how or intuition is very valuable to us, no matter what your specific area of expertise is. Especially the combination of engineering, policy or academic backgrounds will give a more complete overview of the global situation for natural refrigerants.
