We are pleased to welcome EcoThermics, a key manufacturer of CO2 compressors and related natural refrigerant technology for various OEM product applications, as a Bronze Sponsor of ATMOsphere America 2015. The conference will take place on 25 & 26 June in Atlanta, Georgia.

A pioneer in the development of natural refrigerant heat pump technologies, Eco Thermics has been a supporter of ATMOsphere Ameica from the very beginning. The company specializes in CO2 compressors that are both efficient and environmentally friendly. It has tested prototypes for a wide variety of compressor sizes/capacities for various applications including space heating, cooling, hot water heating and commercial refrigeration.

Complete family of CO2 compressors

One of EcoThermic’s key objectives is to provide easily-installed, single stage, semi-hermetic compressors with proprietary mechanical features, high reliability and durability, to customers such as heat pump builders, distributors and end users. Ultimately, EcoThermics anticipates the production of a complete family of compressors with the following capabilities:
  • Capacity (displacement): 6.5 to 60.0 m3/h at 50 Hz
  • Max. heating: 12.5 to 116.0 kW (15 to 140 hp)
  • Max. cooling: 8.7 to 80.3 kW (10 to 100 hp)
A demonstration EcoThermics built heat pump system in a Country Maid commercial bakery has been running flawlessly for over two years. It has significantly lowered the energy consumption and has shown that EcoThermics technology provides sufficient capacity for simultaneous heating and cooling at low energy cost, with a payback time of less than four years in the case of the bakery.
