Panasonic, a leading Japanese manufacturer of a wide range of products including solutions for the HVAC industry, has for the third year in a row officially confirmed its place as the Platinum Sponsor of ATMOsphere Asia 2016. The conference will be held February 9&10 in Tokyo, Japan.

Panasonic’s outstanding reputation for manufacturing high quality, reliable products has led to the service of customers around the world in numerous different industries, including HVAC&R. Panasonic is committed to the environmental sustainability, offering CO2 condensing unites since 2008. With the acquisition of Sanyo Electric in 2010, Panasonic has continued to branch out towards CO2 refrigeration and heat pump technology.

With their CO2 low temperature Outdoor Condensing Units (OCU) in approximately 100 stores throughout Japan, and continued research and expertise in CO2 refrigeration and heat pump technology, Panasonic is focused on solutions using natural refrigerants and has established itself as a leader in the CO2 commercial refrigeration industry.

Latest CO2 products & projects
Recently, Panasonic has found two possible solutions intended to meet demand for green solutions for the coming years in China, including a CO2 heat pump water heater system for low ambient temperatures. Previous water heating used an electric boiler, which consumed more power and created safety hazards. Compared with heat pump water heaters using HFC refrigerants, the CO2 system is environmentally friendly and also has higher average hot water temperatures and lower capacity decreases in low-ambient temperature conditions.
