We are very pleased to announce the second edition of ATMOsphere America taking place in the US next year! Please save the following dates:

June 18-19, 2013 - Washington DC

After a successful first-ever North American ATMOsphere Natural Refrigerants Workshop in June 2012, THE annual meeting place for industry experts to discuss natural refrigerant trends, latest technologies and regulatory issues is back for a second edition! We are also very happy to welcome our first sponsors: Hill Phoenix for Platinum, our Gold Sponsors Mayekawa, Carnot Refrigeration and Heatcraft as well as our Bronze Sponsors Parker/Sporlan and EcoThermics.

What to expect?

Taking place from June 18-19, 2013, it is targeting around 200 decision makers from leading retailers, suppliers, associations and more. Topics for presentations and workshops will be looking at end-users (retailers, consumer brands, cold storage etc) as well as technology providers from the commercial and industrial refrigeration, heat pump and air conditioning sectors.

More networking, more discussions and an ATMOsphere America summary report, will be some new features for the 2013 edition.

Don’t miss our special Christmas offer when registering before the end of this year - registration will open next week!

Program Highlights

We will be refining the program over the coming weeks and months. Below you can already get a sneak peak:
  • State of the Industry: On day 1, we will give you the latest market trends, statistics and examples for natural refrigerants used in North America and also in Europe and Asia.
  • End-Users Sessions: In addition, the end-users and dedicated panel discussions covering commercial and industrial refrigeration will play a prominent role.
  • Technology Case Studies: One important part of the program will be, once again, the technology case study sessions, for which we are planning to issue a call for case studies early next year.
  • Regulations, Standard and Training: To get up to date with the latest policy developments and talk about the important aspects of training and safety.
  • Supply Chain Session: For the first time, we are also planning to have a session focussing on the Supply Chain, where refrigerant suppliers as well as component and system supply can discuss challenges and opportunities within the supply and value chain.
  • Roof-top reception: After our nicely planned roof-top pool reception had to be cancelled due to bad weather during the first edition, we will give it another try in 2013 and hope that the weather gods are smiling on us this time and will allow us to enjoy a relaxing evening by the pool with all participants
  • Sponsor Exhibition: More space for sponsor exhibitions, bringing to you latest product and technology information from innovative companies pioneering in the field of Natural Refrigerants!

ATMOsphere America 2013 summary report

Another novelty we will have for next year is a summary report about the event, summarizing main market messages, key policy discussions and innovative case studies from ATMOsphere America 2013. The report will be published shortly after the event and shared globally.
