After acquiring Sanyo Electric in 2010, Panasonic continued Sanyo’s expertise in CO₂ refrigeration and heat pump technology. Sanyo had developed the world’s first CO₂ rotary 2-stage compression compressor using the natural refrigerant, CO₂. As energy efficiency and consumption of natural resources have become hot topics in Japan, Panasonic has established itself as a leader in commercial CO₂ refrigeration in Japan.

The first ever ATMOsphere Asia brings together key HVAC&R industry stakeholders, including end-users, suppliers, academics and government representatives, serving as a forum for business and knowledge exchanges. The goal of the conference is to support the uptake of leading Asian refrigerant technologies by global markets, as well as to encourage international suppliers to come to Asia.
