ATMOsphere America 2013 is looking forward to welcoming you next week! We would like to give you a few practical tips before you head to Washington, DC.

Registration

Normal registration for the conference opens on Tuesday June 18th at 8 a.m. The first session will begin at 9:00 a.m.

Pre-Registration, Informal Reception & Special Guest!
Monday evening (open to all)


Monday June 17th from 6 – 7:30p.m. we will be hosting an informal networking reception (open to all) where it will already be possible to register and collect your badge & conference material to avoid queuing on Tuesday morning. We are pleased to welcome our special guest, award-winning entrepreneur Amy Larkin, author of “Environmental Debt: The Hidden Costs of a Changing Global Economy” as the keynote speaker on Monday evening.

Tuesday June 18th from 7 p.m. onwards we will be hosting a rooftop pool-side reception with dinner buffet and passed hors d’oeuvrs. We welcome our keynote speaker, Trey Crown, VP and General Manager of the Hillphoenix System Division. Let’s hope for great weather!

How to Get There

Directions from Union Station:

Metro Stop, AMTRAK, MARC Commuter Train, and VRE Commuter Train

Union Station is located just 3 blocks from The Liaison Capitol Hill. The station houses disembarkation points for AMTRAK trains, including the Acela trains from New York and Boston. The Metro subway has a Union Station stop, and commuter trains from Virginia and Maryland stop here as well.

Directions from Reagan National Airport:

Reagan National Airport (DCA) is about five miles from The Liaison Capitol Hill. The drive takes less than 10 minutes.

Directions from Dulles International Airport:

Dulles International Airport (IAD) is just about 27 miles and takes less than 45 minutes from The Liaison Capitol Hill.

From the Dulles (IAD) airport, follow signs to Interstate 66 East.
Cross the Roosevelt Bridge into Washington.
Take Constitution Avenue East toward the US Capitol.

As of today, the weather is forecasted to be quite hot with a 30-40% chance of rain.

Pictures for Networking

To maximize networking opportunities, we will be inviting participants to have a polaroid picture taken which will be then placed on a board with their business card underneath. The purpose of this is to have an overview of all participants and to “put a face to a name” so that you can more easily find that individual during the event.
