Bitzer, a globally leading manufacturer of screw, scroll and semi-hermetic reciprocating compressors for CO2 and ammonia, has announced that it will again support ATMOsphere Asia 2015 as a Silver Sponsor. The conference, which will take place from 3-5 February in Tokyo, will again serve as a bridge for business development between leading Asian and International companies.

Since it’s founding in 1934, BITZER has developed into a worldwide leading manufacturer of compressors, condensing units and pressure vessels for the refrigeration and air conditioning industry, with a presence in over 90 different countries. Maintaining a strong commitment towards environmental sustainability, BITZER offers several compressor models designed for use with natural refrigerants including ammonia, CO2 and hydrocarbons.

ECOLINE wins “Refrigeration Product of the Year”

In April 2014, the BITZER ECOLINE reciprocating compressor, which is compatible with R290, won the “Refrigeration Product of the Year” award, which was presented during the 2014 ACR Show. As with BITZER’s other products, energy efficiency and versatility in applications are some of the key features of the ECOLINE.
With displacements ranging from 4 to 221 m3/h, the ECOLINE series offers high efficiency coupled with a broad range of applications, making it suitable for all standard refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump applications.
The efficiency (COP) of this line was improved by up to 6% with medium temperature applications and no less than 12 % at low condensing temperatures, compared with previous compressor models. Energy efficiency and versatility in applications are some of the key features of several of BITZER’s products, including the ECOLINE compressors.
