Panasonic, a leading Japanese manufacturer of a wide range of products including solutions for the HVAC industry, has officially confirmed that it will be the Platinum Sponsor of ATMOsphere Asia 2015 for the second consecutive year! The conference will be held from 3-5 February 2015 in Tokyo, Japan.

With a reputation for manufacturing high quality, reliable products, Panasonic services a global customer base for a number of different industries, including the HVAC&R industry. With a commitment to environmental sustainability, Panasonics has increasingly focused on solutions using natural refrigerants and established itself as a leader in the CO2 commercial refrigeration industry.

Since 2008, it has offered CO2 condensing units. In 2010, Panasonic acquired Sanyo Electric and has, since then, continued the company’s expertise in CO2 refrigeration and heat pump technology. To date, Panasonic’s CO2 low temperature OCUs have been installed in approximately 100 stores throughout Japan.

Latest CO2 products & projects

Through the last decade, Panasonic has been developing a unique 2-stage compression technology and internal intermediate pressure structure, which improves efficiency and reliability and reduces noise and vibration. In February 2014, Panasonic installed a CO2 refrigeration system at a new Lawson’s flagship convenience store in Osaka, Japan, based on three principles: “environmentally friendly”, “convenience through using ICT” and “health consciousness”. Thanks to the CO2 system and other energy saving features of CO2 showcases, energy consumption is reduced by 20% compared to the standard HFC system.
