Temprite, a specialist in energy efficient coalescent and conventional oil separators and refrigerant oil management products, has confirmed that it will again support ATMOsphere America, this time as a Silver Sponsors. ATMOsphere America 2015 will take place on 25 & 26 June in Atlanta, Georgia.

Founded in 1924, Temprite was a pioneer in the refrigeration industry and one of the first companies to specialize in refrigeration components with early products including beer coolers and dispensing valves for soda fountains and water coolers. The company’s reputation grew with the development of the conventional oil separator. In 1988, Temprite began designing and manufacturing coalescent oil separators and oil reservoirs with its 900 Series, followed with the 920 & 920R Series in 1990-1991. These products offer energy savings, lower carbon emissions and an increased system life.

Innovation for CO2 applications

Temprite’s 130 Series of coalescent oil separators is specifically designed for transcritical CO2 systems. In addition to a range of five different sizes of separators, the company’s CO2 transcritical product range also includes the RES7 Reservoir, a seven liter oil reservoir with a service rating of 130 bar, and the 48-2 Filter/Drier Shell, which has a service rating of 130 bar and can handle one or two size 48 D filter/drier cores.

For larger commercial refrigeration systems, Temprite offers the Model 139A, which brings maximum thermal efficiency to the CO2 system. With twice the separation capacity of Temprite’s Model 137A, it is possible that one 139A could replace two 137A oil separators. For cases when floor space is limited, Temprite also provides the Model 138A, which has 1.5 times the capacity of the 137A but maintains the same diameter.

Ammonia compatible 920 & 920R Series

The 920 & 920R Series include high efficiency coalescent oil separators that make refrigeration systems clean and green by lowering energy costs and reducing carbon emissions. Both are compatible with ammonia and have also been extensively used in subcritical CO2 applications up to 45 bar. The 920 and 920R separators perform with equal efficiency in all types of systems such as ultra-low temperature applications, in even or uneven multiplex systems, dual suction systems, low & medium systems and air conditioning systems, as well as during refrigeration load shifting/matching.

About ATMOsphere America 2015
25 & 26 June at The Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead – Atlanta, Georgia

ATMOsphere America is back for its 4th edition, this time moving south to Atlanta, Georgia. The new location is expected to draw a record 300-350 participants and will introduce several new highlights including additional site visits and training sessions on the days before and after the conference. The program will again feature a proven mix of regulatory & market trends sessions, end user & supplier panels and technology case study sessions covering a range of topics including commercial, light commercial, industrial & transport refrigeration, heat pumps and HVAC.

Registration for ATMOsphere America 2015 will officially open in December 2014 with a limited-time Early Bird Special Discount.
