Parker Hannifin, a worldwide industry leader in providing innovative HVAC&R components and complete systems suitable for CO2, ammonia and hydrocarbon refrigerants, has confirmed that it will again support ATMOsphere America 2015 as a Silver Sponsor. Registration for the conference has kicked off with a Holiday Special promotion, which will run until January 10th 2015.

The Sporlan division of Parker Hannifin is an engineering expert in designing and manufacturing HVACR components, offering a wide range of products suitable for CO2, ammonia and hydrocarbon refrigerants. It is proud to say that it is one of the preferred component suppliers of the refrigeration and air conditioning industry.

The company offers refrigeration and air conditioning components for residential, commercial, industrial and mobile applications. Its product portfolio includes customized subsystems, kits, manifolds and leak-free, value-added assemblies, as well as valves, filter-driers and pressure regulators for use in supermarkets, air conditioning units, cold storage trucks and more. In addition, Micro Thermo TechnologiesTM products provide advanced, enterprise-wide controls for food retail, convenience stores and other markets requiring advanced refrigeration controls.

CO2 product highlights

New CO2 product highlights include the Sporlan gas cooler/flash gas bypass valves (GC and FGB) for CO2 transcritical refrigeration systems, which feature synthetic seat discs to ensure tight shutoff and high resolution actuators with 2500 steps. Another leading product is the CO Series drier designed for transcritical CO2 for 155 bar, which removes moisture, acid and debris from systems under extreme conditions.

Micro Thermo TechnologiesTM products have been providing advanced CO2 control in North America for over a decade. The Micro Thermo Technologies case controller and rack control solutions can be found in more transcritical CO2 installations in North America than any other controls company.

Solutions for use with ammonia

The company also offers a number of products for use with ammonia, such as the PVS valve station, a 6-in-1 valve station, with plated steel housing. The 340mm high and 486mm long PVS is easy to install and features shut-off valves, an expansion valve, a check valve, solenoid / regulator / electronic valve, strainer, cartridge and seal cap.

The Refrigerating Specialties Division of Parker Hannifin recently launched the Cartridge Safety Relief Valve (CSRV) for the industrial refrigeration market. The CSRV reduces maintenance costs while ensuring the safety of the system.

New Training Center in Washington, Missouri

In November 2014, the new Sporlan training center opened its doors to offer HVAC&R professionals technical training on refrigeration systems through both theoretical and practical activities.
