We are pleased to have Embraco on board for the 7th edition of ATMOsphere Europe, which will take place on 19 & 20 April 2016 in Barcelona, Spain. The global company specialised in the hermetic compressor market will support the conference as a Bronze Sponsor.

Founded in 1971 in Joinville (SC), Brazil, and initially to supply the Brazilian refrigeration industry, today Embraco is specialised in cooling solutions and is a world leader in the hermetic compressor market, providing innovative solutions in over 80 countries. In addition to a productive capacity of 37 million compressors per year, Embraco also produces electrical components, cast iron and complete cooling systems for home and commercial use and electronic components, used to make intelligent household appliances.

Embraco has factories in Brazil, Italy, China and Slovakia plus commercial offices in the U.S., Mexico and Italy as well as strategically located distribution centers.

Energy efficiency as the basis for the development of all of EMBRACO’s products

Not only does Embraco work on developing highly efficient compressors, which consume less energy and need less raw materials to be manufactured, but is also one of pioneers in utilising hydrocarbons as a refrigerant.

Embraco reinforces its commitment to global sustainability by offering a full range of high efficiency compressors and condensing units. One of its key highlights is its VNEU217U compressor model, the next generation of the VNEK compressor, which was the company’s first high energy-efficiency product for commercial applications compatible with natural fluids.

The VNEU217U, which uses propane as a refrigerant, boasts the same variable-speed technology branded under the company’s ‘Fullmotion’ label, but affords up to 35% greater cooling capacity and higher efficiency via extended displacement, a feature not included in the VNEK model. The model can be used in several applications including high efficiency supermarket freezers, supermarket islands (mainly horizontal but also vertical), ice cream freezers and wine coolers.
