ATMOsphere Bangkok 2012: Examples of natural refrigerants used worldwideNews | 3 August 2012At the ATMOsphere Bangkok conference titled “Natural Refrigerant Solutions - Policy drivers and examples of Natural Refrigerants being used around the world” presenters from AHT Cooling Systems and shecco outlined a number of case studies related to HC technology from different regions. Cool Technologies 2012 interim report demonstrates increased interest in HFC-free technologyNews | 1 August 2012At the 2012 ATMOsphere Bangkok side-event to the 32nd Open-Ended Working Group (OEWG 32) meeting, Janos Maté from Greenpeace presented the 2012 interim report ‘Cool Technologies: Working Without HFCs’. The report demonstrates that natural refrigerant-based technologies exist in most of heating and cooling sectors and that companies are rapidly moving away from HFCs. more

EIA presents Chilling Facts IV report at Bangkok side-eventNews | 27 July 2012During the ATMOsphere Bangkok 2012 held on 27 July, Natasha Hurley from the Environmental Investigation Agency (EIA) presented the key findings of the newly released fourth edition ‘Chilling Facts’ report. For the first time, the EIA has extended the geographical scope of the survey and included ten European retailers in addition to seven in the UK. more
Chilling Facts IV: HFC-free becomes mainstream in EuropeNews | 27 July 2012For the fourth time, the Environmental Investigation Agency (EIA) has published its annual report ‘Chilling Facts’ evaluating the progress of UK and other European food retailers in adopting HFC-free refrigeration. The report shows that a wave of climate-friendly supermarkets is spreading  across Europe, however, challenges remain in Southern and Eastern Europe.
