We are pleased to announce that OBRIST Engineering and SWEP International AB will be Bronze Sponsors of the first-ever ATMOsphere Asia, which will take place in Tokyo, Japan on 3 to 5 February 2014.

About OBRIST Engineering

A specialist in the development of CO2 systems and components for cooling and heating, the Austrian engineering company OBRIST also has a stronghold in the automotive industry. The development of environmentally friendly CO2 technology has always been one of OBRIST Engineering’s core focuses. The company began with the development of CO2 compressors. After realising the potential of using CO2 know-how in mobile air conditioning (MAC systems), this business area became OBRIST’s first priority.

The Austrian engineering company is also active in the development of heat pumps and components for commercial and transport refrigeration. In all of its activities, OBRIST emphasises cost efficiency based on environmental awareness and ecological balance.

About SWEP International AB

SWEP was founded in 1983 by a small group of pioneers in the thermal engineering field, who were among the first to commercialise brazed plate heat exchanger technology. Today, SWEP is an autonomously operating company within the Dover Corporation, specialising in the heat transfer field. It has representation in more than 50 countries and a dedicated sales force in over 20 countries. SWEP’s production units are located in Sweden, Switzerland, USA, Malaysia, Slovakia and China.

The company’s mission is to “Lead the global development, production and marketing of brazed plate heat exchangers while facilitating conversion to sustainable products and processes.” This is why SWEP has developed a dedicated range of heat exchangers using climate-neutral refrigerants such as CO2.
