We are pleased to welcome enEX, OBRIST Engineering and Kawasaki Thermal Engineering as bronze sponsors of the upcoming UNIDO ATMOsphere Technology Summit, which will take place on 3-4 June in Vienna, Austria.

About enEX

Founded in 2004, the Italian company enEX began as a consulting and design company specialising in refrigeration and heat pumps with small environmental impact, as well as in the design of devices for measuring and optimising consumption. Two years later, enEX shifted its activities to include not only the designing, but also the manufacturing of its energy efficient products. Today, enEX focuses on natural refrigerant technology, in particular CO2, for refrigeration systems, air conditioning, ventilation and heat pumps using natural refrigerants. The company also provides consultancy in the HVAC&R field for CO2 application.

About OBRIST Engineering

OBRIST Engineering is an Austrian specialist in the development of CO2 systems and components for cooling and heating with a stronghold in the automotive market. Beginning with CO2 compressors, OBRIST Engineering has focused on the development of CO2 technology since Frank Obrist founded it in 1996. After realising the potential of using CO2 in mobile air conditioning (MAC) systems, OBRIST made this area of business its main priority. The company is also active in the development of components for commercial and transport refrigeration, as well as heat pumps. A strong supporter of environmentally sustainable technologies, OBRIST emphasises cost efficiency based on environmental awareness and ecological balance in all of its activities.

About Kawasaki

The Japanese manufacturer Kawasaki Thermal Engineering, part of Kawasaki Heavy Industries (KHI), specialises in absorption chillers and packaged boilers for the industrial HVAC industry, supplying schools, shopping malls, hospitals, hotels and office buildings with chilled and hot water for air conditioning systems. Using water as the refrigerant, Kawasaki’s absorption chillers are environmentally friendly with zero global warming potential. Its energy efficient line of packaged boiler systems supplies steam for industrial air conditioning. Kawasaki aims to deliver products that contribute to achieving environmentally sustainable air-conditioning all over the world.
