We would like to inform you about a change of date for the ATMOsphere Asia conference, which was originally planned to take place in September 2013. The event will now be held on the following dates: 3-5 February, 2014 (Mon-Wed)

As previously planned, the first two days (3 & 4 February) will be the main conference days, taking place in the same location. The 5th of February will be reserved for site visits in the Tokyo area.
Reasoning behind the change
The reason for shifting the dates of ATMOsphere Asia is the great interest shown by international and Asian companies. The new conference dates correspond with a key industry event for the Asian market, HVAC&R Japan 2014, which will take place from 28 - 31 January. Linking the dates of these two events will allow key international players and other Asian suppliers and end-users, interested in the global movement towards natural refrigerants, to participate in both the major trade show and ATMOsphere Asia with minimal additional travel expenses.
ATMOsphere Asia 2014 will be shecco’s first large scale conference organised in this region. Following the initial event announcement made only a few months ago, we received interest not only from domestic industry but also from foreign companies, end users, academics and policy makers, whose attendance we would like to accommodate with this change of dates.

Networking event on 19 September, 2013 in Tokyo
To give the Japanese market an opportunity to prepare for the February conference, shecco will organise the first of several regular informal networking events for supporters of natural refrigerants. The first of these events will take place on September 19th in the ShinMarunouchi building. On this occasion, Marc Chasserot (Managing director, shecco Japan), will present an update on the EU F-Gas Regulation discussion and the latest trends from key global markets in Europe and America.
