CO₂ supermarket & convenience store solutions

The Denmark-based company was established in 2006 and acquired by Hillphoenix Inc. in 2011, generating a combined figure of 600 CO₂ systems in supermarkets in the US, Canada and Europe. The compSUPER CO₂ supermarket refrigeration system is designed as a 1- or 2-stage system in which frost and refrigeration compressors are located in the same refrigerant circuit. Under Danish climactic conditions, energy savings of more than 20% compared to commond cascade systems have been registered. Advansor offers different types of the compSUPER concept:

• The compSUPER XXS system with condensing units is ideal for small commercial and industrial applications, for example small shops, convenience stores and petrol stations.
• The compSUPER XS ValuePack provides compact, environmentally friendly CO₂ refrigeration for convenience and express stores requiring cooling and freezing at a lower investment costs.
• The compSUPER Sigma is designed for customers who need “combined energy management systems.” It includes integrated parallel compression for high energy efficiency and fulfills the store’s need for cooling, freezing, air conditioning and heating with a single system.

CO₂ innovations for other applications

Advansor also offers the compBINE for combined heating and cooling production, the compHEAT, a range of high efficiency transcritical CO₂ heat pumps, the compFORT, a CO₂ air conditioning system with DX-evaporation, the compINDUSTRI, a range of CO₂ refrigeration systems for industrial purposes in a capacity range of less than 1 MW, and the compFORT DX for air conditioning in offices, cooling of production facilities, cooling in food production and cooling of server rooms.
