CAREL, a global leader in humidification and control systems for the HVAC&R industry, in particular for the retail market, harbors a strong commitment to basic and applied research into energy savings, reduction of environmental impact and innovation in the management of systems. This is why the Italian company will again support ATMOsphere Europe 2015, the meeting place for natural refrigerant experts, as a Silver Sponsor.

Based in Brugine, Italy, CAREL, has been active in the field of refrigeration, air conditioning and humidity control since 1973. Its solutions are specifically conceived for the management of chillers, compressor packs, showcases, multiplexed cabinets, cold storage rooms, seasoning rooms, retarders, air handling units, roof-top units and air conditioning units. CAREL offers a variety of components for both transcritical and subcritical refrigeration installations and control systems for monitoring an entire system’s synchronization and safety.

E3V-C stepper valves for CO2 transcritical convenience stores

Carel recently introduced its E3V-C stepper valves, completing its range of electronic expansion valves for high-pressure transcritical CO2 application in convenience stores. Designed with fluid flows in both directions, the E3V-C simplifies the refrigerant circuit for reverse-cycle operation and reduces installation costs. With a maximum working pressure of 140barg (2030 PSlg), it demonstrates a high reliability under high-pressure application.

ECO-HVAC energy optimisation for retailers

The integrated ECO-HVAC controllers, also designed for natural refrigerants, provide retailers the possibility of consolidating an entire store’s HVAC system to one-single point. The controller package can combine compressor racks, light management systems and air conditioning. With 4 plug-in units that ensure interaction between the individual instruments and continuous information sharing, the ECO-HVAC controller package increases the performance of each individual device, ensuring low-energy consumption and reduced energy waste. The synchronisation of information, previously disconnected, translates into cost and energy optimisation.

About ATMOsphere Europe 2015
16 – 17 March at the Crowne Plaza Le Palace Hotel in Brussels, Belgium

Once again, leading HVAC&R industry stakeholders will come together at the 6th ATMOsphere Europe 2015 to discuss the latest natural refrigerant technologies, market trends and regulatory updates. With the new EU F-Gas Regulation expected to enter into force two months before the conference, major topics of discussion will include updates on implementation of the legislation, as well as reactions of the main market players to the Regulation. In addition to end user panels, technology case study presentations and market trend discussions, ATMOsphere Europe 2015 will feature CEO interviews, an Entrepreneur Session and more.
