Leading Italian compressor manufacturer Dorin has announced its Bronze Sponsorship of ATMOsphere Asia 2015, which will take place from 3 – 5 February in Tokyo, Japan. Dorin offers a complete and diversified range of compressors, also using natural refrigerants including CO2, hydrocarbons and ammonia, for various applications from supermarkets and transport to the agri-food industry and pharmaceuticals.

Founded in 1918 as a manufacturer of machine tools, air compressors and liquid pumps, Dorin has been active in the field of refrigeration and air-conditioning since 1931. Since commissioning its first CO2 transcritical compressor in 1999, the company has grown to become an important market player boasting one of the widest offerings of CO2 compressors available.

A leader in CO2 transcritical & subcritical compressors

Per year, Dorin produces over 70,000 compressors. Its solutions are based on an ongoing commitment to provide maximum energy savings and efficiency while also ensuring environmental sustainability. Dorin’s CDS Range and CD400 Range include compressors for both transcritical and subcritical CO2 applications. The CD400 Range offers displacement from 9.48 to 30.5 m3/h.

Dorin has also commercialized one of the largest CO2 transcritical compressors available on the market, the CD5000M, which features a displacement of 30.23 m3/h at 50 Hz – 36.28 m3/h at 60 Hz. With the refrigeration duty provided (73 kW at -8°C evaporating temperature, 90 bar discharge pressure, 35°C gas cooler outlet temperature) it allows rack builders and end users to dramatically cut down on system costs due to the fact that fewer compressors are needed in order to fulfill the system’s refrigeration capacity. In addition, fewer pipes, fittings and components are required, which further decreases capital costs.

About ATMOsphere Asia 2015
3 – 5 February at the Shin-Maru Conference Square in Tokyo, Japan

For the second year, ATMOsphere Asia “Natural Refrigerants – Solutions for Asia” provides a networking forum for business exchanges between leading Japanese, Asian and International companies. Bringing together key HVAC&R industry stakeholders, the conference discusses the latest market trends, technology innovations and regulatory issues in the field of natural refrigerants. The conference provides an overview of Japanese and international F-Gas regulations, while also presenting national measures and incentives supporting natural refrigerant technologies in Japan. Case studies will highlight technology innovations in a variety of sectors including commercial, light commercial, industrial and transport refrigeration, as well as heat pumps and air conditioning. The event will also feature an exclusive “Tokyo Olympics 2020” session.
