Nihon Itomic, newest Bronze Sponsor of ATMOsphere Asia 2015

Nihon Itomic, a leading manufacturer of electric water heaters for industrial use, has announced that it will again support ATMOsphere Asia 2015, which will take place from 3 – 5 February in Tokyo, Japan, as a Bronze Sponsor. For the second consecutive year, the conference will serve as a forum for business exchanges between leading Japanese, Asian and international companies active in the HVAC&R industry.

For over a century, Nihon Itomic has produced electric water heaters for industrial application. The company, which was founded in 1948, is considered a forerunner in this field, boasting a dominant market share of 70% in Japan. In 2002, it was the first manufacturer to launch a commercial Eco-cute (CO2 heat pump water heater) on the world market.

Combining eco-friendliness with energy efficiency

For heavy volume applications, Nihon Itomic offers a both environmentally friendly and energy efficient CO2 heat pump water heater with a tank volume varying from 500 to 3000 liters and up to 90°C temperature. It utilises heat from the air and produces heat energy to make hot water. 1 electrical energy can produce 3.8 heating energy (COP of 3.8). The heat pump water heater’s high efficiency ensures lower running costs and its use of CO2 allows Nihon Itomic to achieve one of its main priorities, which is combating global warming.

Nihon Itomic’s industrial use Eco-cute is suitable for facilities where heavy volumes of hot water are used on a constant basis, for example in hotels, restaurants, sports facilities, shower rooms, nursing homes, hospitals, schools/school dining and retail shops.

Leading HVAC&R industry experts from around the world will, for the second consecutive year, come together at ATMOsphere Asia 2015 to discuss the latest developments in the field of natural refrigerants. Innovative technology case studies will present the newest products and projects for applications ranging from industrial, commercial, light commercial & transport refrigeration, to heat pumps and air-conditioning. The conference will provide an overview of F-Gas regulations, both for Japan, Europe and North America. One of the major highlights of the conference is a special “Tokyo Olympics 2020” session, which will explore the role natural refrigerant technologies play during the games.
