We are very happy to have True Manufacturing on board as a Bronze Sponsor of ATMOsphere Europe for the first time. With more than 70 years of expertise in commercial refrigeration, the North American company was one of the original EPA SNAP submitters for hydrocarbon use in commercial refrigeration and remains committed to the use of natural refrigerants.

True Manufacturing has been producing commercial refrigeration devices since 1945, adapting itself to market trends and providing new products and services to meet not only the needs of its customers but also to deal with climate and energy challenges.

With extensive manufacturing facilities in Missouri, offices in the U.S., Mexico, the UK, Germany and Australia and a strong sales network all over the world, True offers a wide range of made-in-US products such as beverage distributors, coolers and freezers and display cases to clients worldwide.

The company is dedicated to eco-friendly manufacturing by meeting and surpassing energy standards, without sacrificing performance. One example is True’s use of hydrocarbons in several of its cabinet models, such as the GDM-10-HC-LD.

In addition and as part of its green strategy, True Manufacturing was one of the companies that recently participated in the meeting organised by the Obama Administration, which was held on 16th September 2014 and brought together key US industry stakeholders to pledge new commitments to further tackle CO2 emissions.

In this regard, True committed to using only climate-friendly, low-GWP refrigerants and low-GWP blowing agents, in all future general use and refrigeration product development. In addition, it also announced that the company will develop low-GWP replacements for its existing products within 5 years, helping to reduce emissions of climate-damaging HFCs by more than 200,000 million metric tons of CO2 equivalent.
