In this regard, True committed to using only climate-friendly, low-GWP refrigerants and low-GWP blowing agents, in all future general use and refrigeration product development. In addition, it also announced that the company will develop low-GWP replacements for its existing products within 5 years, helping to reduce emissions of climate-damaging HFCs by more than 200,000 million metric tons of CO₂ equivalent.
