Welcoming SCM Frigo as the newest Silver sponsor of ATMOsphere Europe 2015

SCM Frigo, a leading manufacturer of CO2 systems and components for refrigeration and special refrigeration systems, has once again confirmed its support of ATMOsphere Europe as a Silver sponsor. The event will be held from 16-17 March 2015 in Brussels, Belgium.

Founded in 1979, SCM Frigo’s business originally centered on the manufacturing of refrigerant components and special refrigerating systems. Since then, the company has been developing a wide product range for both indoor and outdoor installations, including a CO2 line that features subcritical packs, cascade systems, transcritical chillers and booster systems.

SCM Frigo product designs guarantee premium efficiency, performance and reliability. Fields of application

SCM’s “Plug’n Cool” CO2 booster unit

With the aim of providing customers with very easy to use, highly efficient and reliable solutions that also preserve the environment, SCM has launched it's CO2 transcritical “Plug’n Cool” units with integrated gas coolers. The units have a cooling capacity ranging from 14 to 200kW MT and from 3 to 55kW LT in booster configuration. The main advantages of the "Plug'n Cool" units include:
  • Easy installation (customer only needs to connect the users pipes)
  • HP piping is already installed and tested (no additional cost for welding and high pressure testing)
  • Small footprint
  • High gas cooler efficiency due to 5 integrated EC fans
  • Start up & maintenance cost reductions
  • Reduced power consumption

Seeking for innovative case studies

The ATMOsphere Review Board is now accepting case studies focused on HVAC&R product innovations, best practice and/or lessons learned in the field of natural refrigerant technology. Special attention will be given to applications in the warmer climates of Southern Europe. The deadline for case study submissions is 15 December 2014.
