We are excited to have Danfoss on board as a Silver sponsor of ATMOsphere Asia 2015. The conference, which will be held from 3-5 February 2015, promises to be a great opportunity for HVAC&R professionals to learn more about market and policy trends for natural refrigerants in Asia, Europe and America, as well as to present their innovative natural refrigerant technology case studies.

The Danish company Danfoss, a leader in the manufacturing of components and controls for the refrigeration & air conditioning, heating & water and motion controls industries, has confirmed its support of ATMOsphere Asia 2015 as a Silver sponsor for the first time. The company actively serves customers in over 100 countries and continues to develop new technologies and solutions to satisfy customer needs with respect to energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.

Danfoss’ Refrigeration and Air Conditioning division specialises in automatic controls, valves, compressors and electronic sensors. Committed to developing climate-friendly solutions, the company offers a wide range of products that use CO2, ammonia or hydrocarbons as the refrigerant.

Danfoss’ innovative solutions for natural refrigerants

CO2: Danfoss provides a variety of products for industrial and food retail CO2 refrigeration applications, including subcritical, transcritical, pump-circulated and hybrid systems. Its product portfolio features control tools specially developed for industrial refrigeration applications. Other highlights include its new high-pressure sensor, the MBS 8250, which was launched at Chillventa 2014 and is specifically designed for use in food retail applications to ensure excellent operation of refrigeration systems employing the natural refrigerant CO2.

Danfoss also offers a helpful CO2 Calculation Tool that evaluates how much customers can save by using CO2 as a secondary refrigerant instead of brine. The calculation is done based on electricity prices and estimated energy savings.

Ammonia: Designed for industrial refrigeration applications, Danfoss’ ammonia components include manual, mechanic and electric valves. The SVL FlexlineTM, which is based on the successful modular platform concept from the ICF and ICV valves in the FlexlineTM family, is suitable for applications such as industrial refrigeration plants, sub-critical CO2 and heat pump systems.

Hydrocarbons: Danfoss also offers a wide selection of control valves, compressors and condensing units suitable for R290 and R600a for domestic refrigerators and freezers, bottle coolers, heat pumps and small air conditioning applications.
