A wide range of hydrocarbon refrigerant compressors for various applications

Secop’s activities are centered on developing and producing advanced compressor technologies suitable for propane (R290) and isobutane (R600a) hydrocarbon refrigerants for a number of different applications including domestic, light commercial and mobile applications.

For use with R290, Secop offers its DLE-CN and NLE-CN compressors designed for LBP and MBP applications such as bottle coolers, commercial freezers, food retail, and ice cream cabinets. These energy-optimized propane compressors feature excellent versatility, reliability and flexibility. They represent suitable alternatives for high GWP technologies using refrigerants R404A and R134a. Additional Secop compressors for R290 include its SLV line of variable speed compressors, which can provide energy savings of up to 40%.

Secop’s XV compressors for R600a, suitable for household refrigeration applications, feature a light and compact design and offer up to 20L extra storage volume in cooling cabinets. Some benefits of the XV compressors include:
  • Up to 40% efficiency improvements
  • Great adaptable capacity
  • Simple stock handling process
  • Reductions in daily operating costs
Other models suitable for R600a for domestic applications include the DELTA model HXD55AA and the KAPPA model HXK12AA.

About ATMOsphere Europe 2015
16 – 17 March at the Crowne Plaza Le Palace Hotel in Brussels, Belgium

Taking place on 16 & 17 March 2015 in Brussels, Belgium, ATMOsphere Europe 2015, Natural Refrigerants – Solutions for Europe will serve as THE forum for key HVAC&R industry stakeholders to discuss the latest natural refrigerant market trends, technology developments and regulatory issues in Europe, including a comprehensive update on the new EU F-Gas Regulation and its implementation. Key discussion topics will also feature a look at the latest market trends in the field of natural refrigerants, as well as innovative technology case study presentations for a variety of applications in commercial & light commercial, industrial and transport refrigeration, heat pumps, air conditioning and more.

The ATMOsphere Review Board has issued an official call for innovative, natural refrigerant based case studies to be presented at ATMOsphere Europe 2015. The deadline for submitting a case study abstract is 15 December 2014.
