IM-240ANE-HC, first Hoshizaki ice cube machine using R290

In 1965, Hoshizaki created its first fully automatic ice maker. Since then, the company has been developing innovative and high tech models that fully respond to the company’s high quality and performance standards.

In June 2004, Hoshizaki released its first ice cube machine employing R290, the IM-240ANE-HC model. The unit, which can produce up to 220kg of ice per day, allows for reductions in energy consumption by 20% thanks to water and energy saving features developed by Hoshizaki’s R&D team.

Other Hoshizaki products include upright and under-the-counter fridges and freezers. Constructed from stainless steel, long durability and efficiency are guaranteed.
Using R600a, these fridges and freezers are very efficient in terms of maintenance and energy consumption. They also feature a front-loaded cleanable air filter, a concept pioneered by Hoshizaki.
Thanks to electronic controls, the internal temperature can be adjusted to between +2°C and +8°C on the fridges and between -22°C and -10°C on the freezers.
