Leading Italian compressor manufacturer Dorin will be supporting the upcoming ATMOsphere Europe 2013, Natural Refrigerants – Solutions for Europe, as a bronze sponsor for the 5th consecutive year. The event will take place from 14-17 October 2013 in Brussels, Belgium.

Each year, the compressor specialist Dorin produces more than 70,000 compressors, which are sold worldwide. The company first began manufacturing compressors and refrigeration systems in 1932, commissioning its first CO₂ transcritical compressor in 1999. Since then, Dorin has become an industry leader, offering one of the widest ranges of CO₂ compressors available.

CO₂ compressor innovations

Recently, Dorin launched the CD-2S range of semi-hermetic reciprocating compressor for CO₂ transcritical applications. These compressors have the capability to work with extreme pressure ratios, allowing for the same functionality as standard CO₂ low temperature equipment with no need for a cascade or booster system. The CD-2S 4-cylinder models have already been UL approved.
