Danfoss, a leading Danish manufacturer of high-efficiency electronic and mechanical components and controls for air conditioning, heating, refrigeration and motion control systems, has announced its Silver Sponsorship of ATMOsphere Europe 2013.

Danfoss is a global leader in the development of natural refrigerant products for the HVAC&R industry. In the 1930’s, the founder of Danfoss, Mads Clausen, began producing and selling automatic valves for refrigeration plants, setting up a company in his parents’ attic. Today, Danfoss has 56 factories in 18 different countries and sales companies in 47 countries.

Danfoss, a natural refrigerant pioneer

Danfoss has a steadfast commitment to developing new technologies for sustainable business growth with respect to climate and energy challenges. As environmental concerns have begun to play a more central role in the HVAC&R industry, CO2 has become an increasingly important refrigerant. Danfoss offers a variety of products for all CO2 applications, including subcritical, transcritical, pump-circulated and hybrid systems. The Danish manufacturer also provides a wide range of products for use in ammonia plants, such as automatic controls and all types of valves and electronic sensors and energy-efficient hydrocarbon compressors.
